Loreto August 2008 - Sailfish and Dorado feeding on the surface next to us. Unfortunately I was so excited that I stopped looking through the camera’s viewfinder and missed a good amount of the feeding.

Loreto August 2008 - The first day of fishing off Loreto was like blue planet! This is a clip of a school of Sailfish feeding on Sardines on the surface. You will see the dorsal fins and their bills slashing through the water to stun/kill the Sardines so they can eat them. This took place right off the side of the boat as we slowly pulled up to them. Once the feeding stopped the school swam right below the boat. This “feeding” was going on all over the place and we just happened to film this particular one. The feeding that was going on was like nothing I have ever seen before in my life!
Loreto August 2008 - Fishing got...well, stupid with so many Dorado around the boat. So we put the rods away and started to feed the Dorado to watch them chase the bait. It was great entertainment while sipping a cold Pacifico and eating lunch.
Loreto August 2008 - To make fishing even more fun we decided to cut off our 80lb leaders and tie our 25lb line straight to circle hooks. In this clip Rachel gets to try out a circle hook for the very first time on a very acrobatic Dorado...not that they all aren’t acrobatic, but this one gets extra HIGH!!!
Loreto August 2008 - After looking at all the other clips do you wonder what it’s like from below the surface? With so many Dorado around the boat I had to jump in the water and shoot some footage with my GoPro Camera. What you see on the screen is around the entire boat no matter which direction you pointed the camera!
