Magdalena Bay, Baja Videos 2008 Part 2

Sunday, November 02, 2008

This is a video clip as we are heading in at the end of the day. The sun is setting behind us, the ocean is calmer, the full moon is rising over Cabo San Lazaro in front of us and we have two Wahoo in the boat with my 70lber in the back. It was a great end to a great day!

This is a clip of a Striped Marlin I hooked and safely released. Some good footage of the Marlin on this.

Multiple Striped Marlin knockdowns on the feathers with a double hookup.

This is a quick shot of a Striped Marlin doing a great jump to shake the hook loose on us.

Mag Bay Outfiiters - This is a clip from the kitchen out at the island where you stay while fishing. It was one of the guides birthday so this captain decided to play some music while we celebrated with cigars and drinks.

The trip started as one of the roughest days I have ever been out on. Each day it got slightly nicer with the wind calming down a bit and the swell dying down a bit. This was the last day of fishing which turned out to be the flattest day of the whole trip.
