Rick Adams Bay Fishing

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Fished a half day in the bay with Rick starting around 7am and working the Coronado bridge area in 62 degree water. A few Spotted Bay Bass were released and then we moved on to see if any Sand Bass were feeding. Fished the my normal spots and still caught Spotty’s with no Sand Bass showing their face. Moved over to the Star of India for some more attempts and to enjoy the view. This area was very slow so we moved back to the bridge to round out the day with a handful off Spotted Bay Bass. Overall a pretty slow day, but mother nature gave us a beautiful morning on the water! I think we were the only private boat out on the water which made it that much better. Plus some great conversation always adds fun to the day.

Hopefully the fish will cooperate a bit better for my next trip with Rick around the 16th of March.

Until the next report, tight lines!
Captain Peter
