1st Place in Holiday Classic

The Hookset Holiday Bay Classic in December of 2007 was created by Hookset.com to help raise money for the charity Angel Tree which helps children who’s parents have been incarcerated over the holidays. It is a way that the children can still have a Christmas to remember despite the unfortunate circumstances. The tournament was held at Dana Landing in Mission Bay and was very well put together by Hookset and it’s sponsors.
To win the tournament you had to bring in your 5 biggest Spotted Bay Bass alive and releasable. Fortunately things came together for Terry and I and we were able to put together the best 5 fish stringer for the tournament which weighed in at 9.29 pounds with the largest Spotted Bay Bass brought in by Terry at 2.30 pounds!
